Electric Showers

We are electric shower specialists. Whether you need a brand new installation, or simply the replacement of an old shower, we can help.

We are happy to complete the whole installation including the plumbing alterations, and can also advise you on any additional ventilation requirements that may arise as a result of the steam from the shower.

We can supply and install basic electric showers, pumped electric showers, or power showers.

For complete safety and compliance with all applicable regulations, we fit 10mm² cable as standard, together with an electrical isolator near to the shower, a 30mA RCD (unless one exists already) and a water isolation valve.

Where a shower is to be replaced, the current installation will be assessed for suitability. Common problems which require rectification include undersize cable (particularly 4mm² which is only suitable for a maximum of a 7kW shower), lack of RCD protection and lack of isolator. These points will become apparent prior to commencement of the work so there will be no surprises.
